Fioricet information

Fioricet is a medication prescribed for migraine headaches. It is a combination of butabital, acetaminophen, and caffeine. The generic form is often called simply butalbital, or sometimes it is referred to as butalbital APAP with caffeine. This is a very populer medication with many people, as it seems to be one of the only effective solutions for migraine headaches, especially after they have begun. Some of the other medications, such as Imitrex, work very well, but need to be taken immediately upon the onset of the headache, or they do not work. Also the cost of Imitrex is prohibitive for many patients, but Fioricet, with its generic equivalent butalbital, can offer people relief for a much lower price.
